Every artist, every writer, every creative needs to find their own voice. What is uniquely them? What is authentic to them? What is their story that they’d like to share? Is an artist just trying to copy what’s currently popular, so they can get on the radio, or do you they have something unique to say?
Coming up September 8th, Music City 101 welcomes BMG/Ariola Recording artist Sylkie Monoff. She'll share stories of landing a record deal at 18 years old, plus another deal in her 20's, as she worked the Germany/Austria/Switzerland market of Ariola Records.
You'll hear her struggles, the rejection, the successes and how she found her Artist Voice.
We'll also hear her journey to Music City, and the record she made here, led by session drummer Eddie Bayers.
Music City 101 founder/artist manager/drummer Scott Metko will lead the discussion and share artist experiences that he has seen first hand.
Sign up for this class if you are a rising artist, dreaming to become one, or you're a creative of any type, that just wants to have a stronger mindset to better endure the difficulties of our industry. This is a 60 minute live Zoom webinar, with live interactive chat.
If this is your first Music City 101 class, it's free! Ongoing support in the private Music City 101 Community group will be available after the class.
